A lot of people are saying hey, I’m just running life on auto pilot. I don’t know what I’m doing. I don’t think any of us do, regardless of age. Maybe some of us have a better sense of what we want to do, and those wants help guide us, but do any of us really know what the future holds?
So it’s an adventure to find out. Be bold, get psyched and go somewhere new. Get smacked down a bit, discouraged, homesick. Just utterly uncomfortable. Starve a little. You’ve got to experience the lows to truly enjoy the highs. And in the process, meet wonderful people. People that will help you get up and brush the dust off your shoulders, change you and aspire you to do better. These people aren’t the ones that shrug and say, “You do you.” They’re the ones that say, “I’m listening. How can I help?”
Slowly, day by day, the unfamiliar becomes second home. And before you know it, you’ll mature into an unrecognizable you.
