Painting Myself as the Tiger Lady

Bloody rainbow

My hands are extremely dry. I have come to the conclusion that paint splattered hands are much better than normal, hygenic hands.

I’ve never been good with colors. So I decided to take a painting class this fall.

We aren’t really taught anything in class, but the TA’s suggestions/critiques are helpful. Everyone in the class has improved enormously, me included. Practice makes perfect! Someone should get a tattoo of that motto on their buttcheek.

"Consumerism." I think I'm the only one who can see this painting as that!

“Consumerism.”

Or just candy wrappers from Halloween and a cup (mm, that apple cider).

For a class I'm taking, our final project involves painting how "we perceive ourselves"... tigers, of course.

I underestimated how not tanned I am.

The work in progress that has a lot of problems. I underestimated how not tanned I am.

One inevitable thought when it comes to painting yourself: “Wow, I look like that?”
